1. NQ64

All the fun of a bar, but with an arcade. The bar, based in Short Street in Manchester’s Northern Quarter, is home to an underground drinking den where guests are able to play the retro arcade games and classic consoles from their youth while enjoying the beverages of their adulthood. Open from July.

2. Whistle Punks Axe Throwing

Try something different with Whilst Punks Urban Axe Throwing in Manchester! How do the sessions work? They teach you how to sling an axe like a pro, giving group instruction then brief individual coaching to hone your technique. Alongside food, drinks & a great atmosphere. It’s a great place to be! Open from August.

3. Cat Cafe

This ones for the cat lovers! Have a cup of coffee and cake with your favourite furry friends at the Cat Cafe in the Northern Quarter. Be sure to book in advance to secure your spot. Open from July.

4. Discover Secret Bars

Convenience Store is a secret bar in the Northern Quarter. Alongside an amazing selection of cocktails, there’s shelves filled with retro sweets and chocolate bars. They also serve slushies for the proper American convenience store effect.

5. Junkyard Golf

Cocktails meet crazy gold at Junkyard Golf! What started as a 2-week pop-up crazy golf venue in Manchester’s Great Northern Warehouse, now sees itself in five major cities across the UK. There are three courses to choose from – and plenty cocktails to accompany! Opening TBC.
